Process to apply for a Canada Study Visa

The amount of GIC is CAD 10,000 which is for living expenses for the first year of your studies. Students are charged $200 by the Bank of Scotia. After reaching Canada, students get $2000 as a first installment and $8000 in 12 installments for living expenses every month. 
  • Medical certificate: After that, you will need to obtain a medical certificate from a doctor certified by the Canadian government. The doctor gives you a receipt which you have to submit while submitting your visa application to the embassy. Your health report will be forwarded to the Visa Office.
